About WiFi QR Codes

If you want tighter control, create a separate guest network on your router with its own password and change it periodically. Your main network credentials stay private, and the printed code only exposes the guest network.
Encryption Types
Choose the encryption type that matches your router settings:
- WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 for almost every modern network. The label on the router may say WPA2-Personal or WPA3-SAE.
- WEP only for legacy networks that still use WEP. These are rare and outdated.
- None for open networks that have no password at all.
Tips for Reliable WiFi Codes
- Enter the SSID and password with exact case. WiFi credentials are case sensitive.
